看人看相，听话听音。某些招聘者在招聘时喜欢给应聘者设下圈套，以声东击西的方式，从求职者的回答来判断他的性格、品德、为人处事的原则等方面的信息，最后决定录用与否。因此，对于一个毕业生来说，能否清楚地理解招聘者言外之音，并用巧妙的回答拉近与招聘者的距离，赢得最后的胜利便显得尤为重要。如招聘者问：我上学那会儿某门功课学得不太好，我发现这门功课你的成绩也不太好，你能说说是什么原因吗?对于这样的问题，如果你顺着杆往上爬，回答说：那门功课太难了，所以那你可就大错特错了，因为招聘者问这种问题绝对不是在和你套近乎，很大程度上他可能是在考验你面对问题时所表现出的态度：是从自身找原因，还是喜欢推卸责任?最好的处理方法是既不推卸责任，也不要一味自责，而是直面现实。你不妨这样回答：是的，我这门功课成绩是不太好，但我相信这不会成为我拥有这份工作的障碍。又如招聘者说：真对不起，我们不就灰心丧气，认为一切全完了，其实这是极其错误的。面试过程往往是应聘者与招聘者之间斗智斗勇的过程，一些招聘者可能会问一些极为刁钻的问题或是让人感到非常尴尬的问题，以检验应聘者的心理素质。有时他们甚至会用一个明显不友好的发问，或是用怀疑、尖锐、单刀直入的眼神，使应聘者的心理防线完全崩溃。如果这个时候你被激怒，或者完全失去了信心，那你可就中了圈套了，面对招聘者的咄咄逼人，当你黔驴技穷的时候，别忘了应战绝招：微笑着面对挑战。因为一个真正的智都，无论在什么情况下，都应该永远保持智慧与谦和的微笑，也许这时胜利已经在向你招手了。
五、考虑应聘细节，做到八要八不要
根据笔者多年工作经验的积累和对毕业生应聘行为的观察分析，除做到上述要求外，在实际应聘面试中要随机应变，努力做到八要八不要。
1、 不要迟到，要提前到现场。面试如果迟到，会被看作不礼貌、不会安排时间、缺乏条理;提前15分钟，似乎显得无所事事;因此提前三五分钟到达最适宜。在等待的过程中，即便是超过了预约的时间，也不宜表现出不耐烦，否则会被当作易怒暴躁的人。
2、 不要喝咖啡，要保持心情平静。咖啡虽能提神但会增加你的紧张程度，而且还易产生口臭。
3、 不要主动握手，握手要适度。当招聘者招呼你时，伸手不要过于生硬，握手不要有气无力，像个老病号。试想，一个连握手的力气都没有的人，用人单位会录用吗?
4、 不要紧张，要自然大方。面试开始时，招聘者对你实际上已经有了第一印象，假如他们的目光让你感到不自在，过分紧张是无济于事的，你可以望着对方的眉毛或鼻尖，尽可能表现得自然。
5、 不要急于问待遇，要掌握好问的时机和火候。你们的待遇怎么样?这样的问话很可能在招聘者头脑中留下这样的印象：工作还没干就先提条件了，何况我们还没说要不要你呢?谈论报酬，无可厚非。只是要看时机和火候，一般是在双方已有意向时才委婉地提出。
6、 不要套近乎，要有自信心。招聘者对于过于自信或过分随意的人都不信任，某些毕业生在面试时对招聘者说：我认为你们单位某某，某某经理和我关系不错等等。这种话招聘者听了会反感，如果招聘者与你所说的那个人关系不怎么好，甚至有矛盾，这种拉关系、套近乎的话引出的结果可能会更糟。
7、 话不要说得太多，但要说得得体、有分量。不要过分咨询工作时间的长短，或随意批评你的某一位同学或竞争对手。不宜开玩笑、不宜反复强调自己的应聘动机，也不要让招聘者感到无论什么条件你都要获得这个职位，这些都不利于成功。
8、 不要灰心丧气，要善于表达愿望。这一点很重要，结束面试时，别忘记向招聘者表达你希望能够被录用的愿望，在握手告辞之前，不妨问一句招聘的下一步内容是什么。
