加入志愿者——社会责任感的驱使
志愿者是指在不为物质报酬的情况下，基于道义、信念、良知、同情心和责任，为改进社会而提供服务，贡献个人的时间及精力的人和人群。志愿服务起源于19世纪初西方国家宗教性的慈善服务，志愿活动在世界上已经存在并发展了100 多年。有资料显示，在美国有50%的人都是志愿者，尤其在9·11事件之后，美国人做志愿者的数量又有了新的增长。伴随着美国经济，志愿服务事业同样也在蓬勃发展。如今，志愿者的数量多少，他们付出有多少，已经成为考量一个国家文明程度的标志之一。
虽然志愿服务的概念进入中国已经有15年的时间，但是民众的参与率始终徘徊于30%—40%之间，相对于欧美国家和日本来说，这个数字还有些距离。直到在今年抗震救灾的过程中，骤然“催生”了数十万规模的志愿者大军。他们有的是经理、有的是律师、有的是医生、有的是自由职业者……地震之后，他们第一时间请假奔赴灾区，去救助那些素未谋面的人。还有很多人报了名，却还在等候派遣中，在某世界500强企业从事销售工作的韩先生就是其中的一位。“我学过心理学，并且获得了心理咨询师的证书，我希望能够用我的特长去为灾区人民做点事，”韩先生的神情略微有些沮丧，“虽然我报了名，打算去灾区从事心理援助，不过至今还未得到派遣通知，我一直在等消息，都快急死了。”
“怎么突然会想到报名参加志愿者呢？”笔者问道。
“这个想法已经放在心底很久了。工作了几年，一直都想尽自己的力量为社会做点事，这可能就是社会责任感的驱使吧！”
的确如此，在本次在线调查中，有40.16%的受访者认为“服务社会”是自己加入志愿者的初衷（见图1），尤其对于物质生活已然充盈的白领来说，回馈社会、帮助他人成为他们丰富精神生活的一大途径。另有31.36%的受访者选择了“体验生活”，长期担任西部扶贫志愿者的Roy就是一个真正的“体验派”。从小生活在环境优越的大都市，从来不知道贫困是什么。大学毕业后，他加入了西部扶贫的志愿者队伍，利用自己的法律专业为当地的老百姓做基层法律援助。如今，他虽然已经回到了城里，进入一家律师事务所工作，但那段经历始终难以让他忘怀。“没有去过那些地方的人，根本无法想像他们的生活，”说起这些，Roy显得有些激动，“这几年的亲身体验，让我对现下的幸福生活更为珍惜，也让我对人生有了新的感悟。”

在众多选项中，选择“增加经历，在简历中多写一笔”的也占到13.94%。倘若抱着功利目的去加入志愿者，意图用这个经历来打动企业HR的话，还是奉劝大家放弃这个念头吧。真正的志愿者需要有爱心、恒心、信心、耐心的人，而并非是用来做秀。某知名IT企业招聘经理Jessica坦言：“求职者有志愿者的经历，的确会引起HR的关注并增加印象分，但这并不是招聘过程中的参考标准。况且假如他只是为了迎合我们企业价值观而去做这些事的话，那我反而会觉得他很虚伪，要知道HR的眼睛是雪亮的哦。”
还有很多白领加入志愿者是带着其他目的，如“结交同道中人”、“个人兴趣”以及“打发时间”等。无论是抱着哪一种目的，参加志愿服务活动就应该是一种发自内心的奉献，只有坚持“奉献、友爱、互助、进步”的志愿精神，从内心去付出，这才是真正的志愿者行动。
六成企业态度并不明朗
个人社会责任意识的增强，让我们看到了志愿者组织进程加速的希望。但是，由于大部分的青年志愿者都是在职人员，参与志愿服务有可能会影响到日常的工作。此时，企业对于员工的这类行为持何种态度就显得非常重要。当被问及“你会向公司说明你参加志愿者组织”时，63.59%的受访者选择了“看情况，只要不影响工作应该问题不大”（见图2）。我们尝试换个角度来看待这个问题，白领选择的模棱两可，是否也映射出其所在企业态度的不明朗呢？从事公关工作的Lily就一直在为这件事犹豫不决。她报名参加了某个志愿者组织，有些时候志愿服务活动会在工作日进行，于是她就只能向领导请年假，而每次的请假理由都只是旅游、探亲等，从来都不会写“从事志愿服务活动”。“不想告诉公司我参加志愿者，原因主要有两个，”Lily无奈地告诉笔者，“一来不想让别人误以为我是在刻意标榜自己，显得自己有多么高尚；二来我们公司历来没有对员工参与志愿者有任何明确规定，况且请假制度也很苛刻，就怕使用这个理由会很难得到批准。其实我也一直在寻找机会想探探老板的口风，目前一切还在观望中。”

受访者中只有30.01%的人会向公司说明情况，并且公司也持支持态度。不过，仍有6.40%的人选择了沉默，理由就是公司会反对。值得庆幸的是反对者只是很少一部分，尽管六成企业的态度模糊，但至少还保留可以积极争取的空间。作为全世界最大、发展最快的非营利教育组织——JA（Junior Achievement），在100多个国家对青少年进行经济和商业教育，它的运作模式就是依靠众多企业的赞助，例如微软、花旗集团、摩托罗拉、波音等等。这些支持不仅仅体现在金钱上，同时还包括从自己的企业中推举员工成为JA的志愿者。JA China的项目经理Judy说道：“到目前为止，在JA注册的志愿者人数已经达到了15 000多人，其中有75%以上的志愿者来自和JA合作的公司，这些公司为员工参与志愿服务提供了很好的条件。例如通用、英特尔等企业就非常提倡员工在安排好工作的前提下，外出做更多服务社会的事情。还有一些企业的员工俱乐部始终积极地在公司内部推广志愿者概念，为JA志愿者的招募做出了很多贡献。”
微软：据Judy介绍，微软公司每年都给员工提供一定时间的志愿者日，员工可以带薪参与任何志愿活动。
陶氏化学：有一位JA的学生在大学毕业后加入了美国陶氏化学公司，当时这家公司还未与JA合作，后来在他的努力推动下，陶氏化学的CEO居然亲自参加了JA的志愿服务活动，CEO的身体力行也带动了不少员工加入JA，如今陶式化学已经正式成为JA众多企业志愿者中的新成员。
不难看出，在许多外企里面，志愿者是非常受到认可的。而在中国企业里，这样的理念还有待时日推进。“现在，JA的合作伙伴中已经出现了国内企业的身影，”Judy兴奋地说道，“浦东发展银行等本土企业已经加入到JA的队伍中，让JA对在中国的事业发展有了更大的信心。我们也呼吁更多的国内企业都能关注志愿者，尽量为他们的志愿服务提供更多的方便，只有你们的支持，我们才能做得更好。”
加入志愿者，你准备好了吗？
有了个人的信念，再加上企业的支持，恭喜你已经离加入志愿者更近了一步。只要能再做足以下的准备功夫，那你就能真正成为一名志愿者啦！
时间
在参加志愿活动之前，要确认自己能够腾出空余的时间。一旦志愿服务与工作发生冲突时，你要做出合理安排。专家建议，应先以完成日常工作为前提，再去参加志愿活动。倘若真的十万火急，应主动向公司告知，并妥善安排人员接手你的手头任务。
身体
有些志愿服务需要志愿者有足够的体力，例如抗震救灾。你必须对自己的身体状况了如指掌，以免在服务过程中增添不必要的麻烦。
技能
为满足社会不断增长的志愿服务需求，国内志愿者组织已经在扶贫开发、社区建设、环境保护、教育、大型活动、抢险救灾、海外服务等不同领域实施了一系列志愿服务项目。作为志愿者本身，应该根据自己的特长选择相应的组织，同时在志愿服务之前，再参加系统的技能培训，有助于快速展开援助。
除了以上几项之外，参加志愿者还必须做好抗压的心理准备，以及家人情绪的安抚，因为在你付出的同时，你的家人也在为你担心和操劳，顾及他们的感受也是相当重要的。
